Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Ansatsuken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jonny Jon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ansatsuken ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ansatsuken but Ansatsuken pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ansatsuken lands a head kick!

Ryu Ansatsuken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Jon.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jon is defended easily by Ansatsuken.
Ansatsuken moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ansatsuken throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jon misses with a hook. Ansatsuken ducked under it nicely.
Jon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ansatsuken connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ansatsuken moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Jon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ansatsuken keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A head kick from Ansatsuken lands but Jon takes it in his stride.

Ansatsuken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jon.
Jon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ansatsuken sprawls well. Ansatsuken wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jon gets slowly back to his feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ansatsuken, as that shot connected.
Jon is still on wobbly legs! Can Ansatsuken finish him?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters circling a little - Ansatsuken finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jon seems to have recovered his senses.
Ansatsuken connects with a body shot.
Ansatsuken scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jonny Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ansatsuken lands with a straight right. Jon didn't see that one coming.
Jon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ansatsuken is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jon.
Ansatsuken pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jon back to the cage. Ansatsuken follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jon is still on wobbly legs! Can Ansatsuken finish him?
Ansatsuken lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jon seems to have recovered his senses.
Ansatsuken lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ansatsuken lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jon backwards.

Jon on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Jon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ansatsuken swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ansatsuken has Jon up against the cage in a clinch.

Jon tries to pull guard but Ansatsuken holds him up against the cage and eventually Jon drops back down to his feet.

Jon is trying to force a seperation but Ansatsuken has the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jon tries to land a knee to the head but Ansatsuken blocks with his arms.

Ansatsuken lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jon backwards.
Ansatsuken presses Jon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ansatsuken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ansatsuken scoring well with a low kick there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryu Ansatsuken dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ansatsuken lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jon can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ansatsuken and Jon drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ansatsuken.
