Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penncil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Jeggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick Jeggins will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, BJ Penncil!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Jeggins!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penncil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jeggins but Jeggins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Penncil tries to clinch but Jeggins is having none of it.

Jeggins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jeggins wants to pass to mount but Penncil is defending the position.
Penncil is looking to improve his position.
Penncil might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Penncil trying to hold on to Jeggins's head to control him but Jeggins postures up.

Jeggins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jeggins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Penncil keeps working.

Penncil's coaches at Elite Training Facility have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jeggins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penncil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Penncil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jeggins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because BJ Penncil just wasn't active enough.
Penncil shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jeggins as he jumps to the side.
Jeggins moves out of range as Penncil throws a body kick.
BJ Penncil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jeggins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've been informed that Jeggins has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Jeggins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Penncil!

Penncil reaches up to try and control the position but Jeggins seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Penncil rolls and tries to escape and now Jeggins has his back!

That was a close second round but I would say that BJ Penncil will probably get the nod.

Penncil closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jeggins is looking to control Penncil's arms but Penncil gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jeggins has his back to the cage.
Jeggins seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.

Jeggins has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Penncil is trying to keep an underhook but Jeggins manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Penncil sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jeggins is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jeggins is looking to work his way around to Penncil's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Jeggins jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Penncil is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Penncil and Jeggins has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jeggins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Penncil to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Penncil shrugs it off.

Dick Jeggins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jeggins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
