Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Cross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Hayes misses.
Hayes misses with an uppercut
and Cross counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cross.
Cross has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hayes regains guard immediately.
Cross decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cross swings for the body but Hayes moves out of range.
Cross uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hayes.
Cross uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hayes.
Cross shoots in looking for a takedown but Hayes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cross's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hayes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cross's head.
Cross misses with the combination.
Cross fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hayes keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hayes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cross looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hayes connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Cross tumbling to the canvas! Hayes pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Cross was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gary Hayes!
