The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flagg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Singh, pushing him back against the cage.
Flagg effectively controlling the action here.
Singh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Flagg lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Flagg throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Flagg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Flagg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Singh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flagg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Singh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Flagg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Singh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flagg napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Singh swings around for an armbar but Flagg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Singh's guard.

Flagg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Singh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Flagg is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Singh like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Singh from another fist facial!
