And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Federico Toriero!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toriero throws a nice looking combination but Frewin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Toriero tries for a takedown but Frewin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Toriero blocks a head kick by Frewin.
Toriero walks forward, straight into a front kick from Frewin.
Toriero has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Frewin.
Frewin stuffs the takedown.
Toriero throws a series of punches but Frewin moves out of range.
Frewin misses with a leg kick.
Benny Frewin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frewin lands a big head kick that sends Toriero tumbling to the mat! Frewin takes a step backwards and waves Toriero back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Federico Toriero has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frewin misses with a low kick.
Frewin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Toriero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frewin can pounce on him.
Toriero looks winded!
Frewin wants to slow Toriero down by chopping away at his legs.
Frewin misses with a head kick.
Frewin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Toriero.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toriero.
Benny Frewin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Federico Toriero.
Toriero is looking to clinch but Frewin is avoiding it.
Toriero shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frewin as he avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toriero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frewin looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Frewin backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Toriero's temple! It sends Toriero violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Frewin celebrates and the doctors try to help Toriero!
