The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wallace was well out of range. Poor timing from McGee.

Wallace gets tackled into the cage by McGee. McGee maintains the clinch.
Wallace blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wallace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McGee is trying to defend but Wallace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but McGee sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters circling a little - McGee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

McGee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wallace under the eye.
McGee slaps away a takedown attempt from Wallace, before circling back to the center of the mat.

McGee moves into the clinch.

Some bone on bone action there as Wallace checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

McGee connects with a leg kick. Wallace looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGee keeps control of Wallace as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McGee digs a right hand underneath Wallace's ribcage. Wallace let out a lung full of air as it connected.

McGee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wallace is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
McGee throws a leg kick which misses Wallace's front leg but catches the back leg as Wallace tries to avoid it.
Wallace stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGee.
McGee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wallace is breathing heavily.
McGee takes a swing at Wallace's ribcage but misses.
McGee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wallace takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fatts McGee is winning the standup battle so far.

Wallace is rocked!
Wallace is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. McGee just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Wallace has gone limp and this one is over!
