Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Melton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Taylor is working away from the top position though.
Melton is not content to let Taylor control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Melton looking for submissions off his back.
Melton is trying to control but can't.
Melton is looking for a sweep. Taylor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Melton is not content to let Taylor control the position.
Taylor uses his free foot to push down on Melton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Melton.

Melton is squirming around, avoiding Taylor's attempts to control the action.
Melton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Taylor fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It looks like Vaughn Melton has been cut.
Taylor trying to control but Melton is having none of it.
Melton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Melton tries to hold on but Taylor postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Melton takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Melton tries to lock up and control but Taylor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Taylor cracks Melton with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
