Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jo Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohsen Mosaddegh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo comes to the cage accompanied by Set You Free. Mohsen Mosaddegh has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mosaddegh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mosaddegh connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jo scrambles back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Jo or perhaps it was just good defense by Mosaddegh which made him look bad.
Jo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mosaddegh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mosaddegh enables Jo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mosaddegh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mosaddegh wants to stand up but Jo is controlling him.
Mosaddegh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mosaddegh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mosaddegh is working away from the top position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Jo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jo has his foot on Mosaddegh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mosaddegh works his way back into a safe position though.

Jo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mosaddegh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jo is tightening it up a little... Mosaddegh has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mosaddegh reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mosaddegh taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jo!

After winning the bout, Jo Jo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
