Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scotty Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen keeps the fight on the outside.
Millar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nguyen.

It looks like Mike Millar has been cut.
Millar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nguyen.
Millar tries for a takedown but Nguyen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nguyen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nguyen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nguyen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nguyen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nguyen scores with a jab to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Millar takes the fight into the clinch.
Millar is trying to pull guard but Nguyen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Millar keeps control of Nguyen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Millar gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Millar prevents Nguyen from standing back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nguyen is looking for a sweep. Millar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Millar stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Nguyen to get to his feet.
Nguyen throws a sloppy head kick and Millar moves out of range easily.
Nguyen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Millar checks a leg kick nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Millar.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Millar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Millar is breathing heavily.
Nguyen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Millar backs up against the cage.

Millar is rocked!

Oh Millar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Millar is looking to clinch but Nguyen is avoiding it.
Nguyen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nguyen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Nguyen.
Nguyen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Millar tumbling to the canvas! Nguyen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Millar was done - good stoppage!
