The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Immanuel wants to clinch.
Away shoots in but no luck this time.
Immanuel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Away circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Immanuel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Immanuel slips under a jab.
Away on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Away changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Immanuel tries to avoid it but Away manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Immanuel to the ground. Immanuel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Immanuel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Away drops back, looking for a kneebar! Immanuel looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Immanuel looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Immanuel!
