Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stout's choice of entrance music: Disturbed - Criminal. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Morrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Stout!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stout pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morrow throws a low kick but Stout avoids it.
Stout throws a big shot that misses.
Morrow swings for the body but Stout moves out of range.
Morrow throws a front kick aimed at Stout's knee but Stout avoids it well.
Morrow misses with a body shot.
Morrow fails with a takedown attempt.
Morrow throws a lazy body kick
and Stout counters with a right hand to the body.
Morrow throws a leg kick which misses Stout's front leg but catches the back leg as Stout tries to avoid it.
Morrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morrow is defended easily by Stout.
Morrow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Morrow misses the body punch
and Stout counters with a nice low kick that buckles Morrow's knee momentarily.
Sam Stout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stout swings for the body but Morrow moves out of range.
We've been told by Morrow's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stout will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stout throws an off balance right hand
and Morrow counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Morrow cracks Stout with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Morrow is looking to chop away at Stout's legs.

Morrow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Morrow not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morrow wants to free his trapped foot but Stout is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Morrow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stout defending well though.

Stout is trying to stand back up but Morrow is controlling him
Morrow wants to pass to mount but Stout is defending the position.
Morrow not landing any meaningful shots this time.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morrow throws a strike but Stout rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Morrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stout was well out of range. Poor timing from Morrow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Stout counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Morrow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Trent Morrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrow throws a combination that misses
and Morrow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Morrow throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Morrow blocks a head kick by Stout.
Morrow throws a series of punches but Stout avoids them all with ease.
Morrow takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stout checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Stout throws a quick inside leg kick.
Stout tries to bum rush Morrow with a series of wild strikes but Morrow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Stout bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Morrow delivers a nice body kick.
Stout uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morrow.
Morrow is looking to wear down Stout with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Stout uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morrow.
Morrow throws a wild body kick that Stout sees coming a mile off.
Stout waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Morrow.
Morrow throws an overhand right that lands on Stout's shoulder, as Stout tries to avoid the shot.
Morrow throws out a leg kick but Stout moves out of range and Morrow only half commits.

and Stout counters with a straight right hand.
Good work by Morrow as he checks the leg kick.
Stout blocks a head kick by Morrow.
Morrow missing with a left hand there. Stout was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Stout tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morrow avoids the body shot from Stout.
Morrow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Stout counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Morrow throws an overhand right that lands on Stout's shoulder, as Stout tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morrow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Stout will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stout walks forward, straight into a front kick from Morrow.
Morrow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stout avoids it really well and circles away.
Morrow misses with a looping right.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morrow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stout.
Morrow lands a nice hook to Stout's body. Stout takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stout sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Morrow throws a nice looking combination but Stout bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Morrow looks to score with a jab to the body but Stout is just out of range.
Morrow turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stout throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Morrow's head.
Morrow takes one on the chin but keeps coming.


Morrow is rocked!
Stout lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Morrow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morrow gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Stout gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Stout!
