The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meat throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Santos stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Meat follows into mount!

It looks like Gustavo Santos has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Meat wants to get back to his feet but Santos is holding on tight.
Santos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Santos has his hands clasped together around Meat's back. He's all about the action.
Meat is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Santos manages to get to full guard.
Meat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Santos looking for a triangle here. Meat is fighting it but it looks tight! Santos pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Meat is tapping out - this one is all over!

Gustavo Santos decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
