Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rhett Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rhett Figueroa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Braga!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Figueroa counters with a thumping low kick.
Figueroa fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Braga.

Braga shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Figueroa wants to improve his position but Braga is controlling well.
Braga passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Figueroa!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Braga trying to control but Figueroa is having none of it.
Figueroa tries to hold on but Braga postures up.
Figueroa is trying to stand.
Braga controlling the position easily from mount.

Braga gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Braga scores with a takedown into Figueroa's guard.

Braga wants to control from the top but Figueroa keeps moving.
Braga's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Figueroa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Braga stands and throws Figueroa's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Braga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Figueroa keeps working.

Braga has an Americana. Figueroa didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Braga is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Braga hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A less than humble Antonio Braga misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
