Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shingo Yabuki!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins misses with a body shot.
Perkins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yabuki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Perkins scrambles back to his feet.
Yabuki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Shingo Yabuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perkins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yabuki throws a lazy right hand but Perkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yabuki scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Yabuki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yabuki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Yabuki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Perkins throws a hook but Yabuki blocks it.
Yabuki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yabuki lands a really nice looking cross but Perkins seems unphased.
Yabuki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Yabuki lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Perkins avoids the body shot from Yabuki.
Yabuki with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Yabuki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Perkins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yabuki backs up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Perkins lands a left and a right that send Yabuki crashing to the mat, dazed. Perkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Yabuki is rocked!
A combination from Yabuki does no damage.
Yabuki is still on wobbly legs! Can Perkins finish him?
Perkins cracks Yabuki with a hook to the temple - Yabuki is on wobbly legs here! Perkins swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Yabuki falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Perkins wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Steven Perkins!
A very excited looking Steven Perkins made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
