Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drock Lesnar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelvin Smith!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lesnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lesnar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Smith, up you get!

Lesnar lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Lesnar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lesnar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Smith tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Lesnar cracks the inside of Smith's front leg.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lesnar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Smith on his heels. He'll look to pass Smith's guard now, I'm sure.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lesnar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lesnar gets to his feet. Smith looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lesnar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Smith to the ground. Lesnar is now in Smith's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar content to stall in guard here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lesnar forces his way into half guard.
Lesnar controlling the pace.
Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lesnar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Still in half guard, Lesnar seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Drock Lesnar wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Lesnar lands a jab to the head.
Smith takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Lesnar scores with a takedown into Smith's guard.

Smith is rocked!
Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Lesnar finish him?
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lesnar throws a big right hand that misses.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Drock Lesnar just wasn't active enough.

Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.
Lesnar really is a fat lump.

Lesnar breaks from the clinch.

Lesnar moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnar tries to stall but Smith uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Lesnar gets control of Smith's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lesnar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lesnar pulls Smith in close to his closed guard and prevents Smith from doing any damage or advancing position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lesnar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drock Lesnar dominated that round.
That's time! Lesnar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Smith seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Lesnar shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Smith is backing up but Lesnar catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Smith covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lesnar Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drock Lesnar!
