Taktarev has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Roman Taktarev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackheart moves into range and clinches up with Taktarev.
Taktarev looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Taktarev wants to get back to striking at distance but Blackheart won't allow it.

Blackheart gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Taktarev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Blackheart frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Blackheart scoring with strikes but Taktarev is staying in there.

It looks like Roman Taktarev has been cut.
The referee warns Taktarev that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Blackheart lands a big shot there that rocks Taktarev but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
