The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Parsons manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Parsons wants to stand and escape but Castle is having none of it.

Parsons avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Castle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Parsons displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Castle.
Parsons tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Castle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Castle looks to score with a jab to the body but Parsons is just out of range.

Castle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parsons manages to avoid it.
Castle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Parsons stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Castle dives in for a single leg takedown but Parsons sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Castle shoots for a double leg takedown but Parsons sprawls well. He's pushed Castle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Castle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parsons sprawls well. Parsons wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Castle gets slowly back to his feet.

Castle shoots in looking for a takedown. Parsons tries to sprawl out of it but Castle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parsons manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
