Shunkov comes to the cage accompanied by Nirvana-Smells Like Teen Spirit. Hans Tuckich has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alexandr Shunkov's chin.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuckich scores with a hook to the body. Shunkov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Shunkov doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Tuckich counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tuckich seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Tuckich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tuckich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shunkov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tuckich on the ground.
Tuckich is stalling in the full guard.
Shunkov wants to stand but Tuckich is controlling the position.
Shunkov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tuckich scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tuckich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tuckich stands up over Shunkov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Tuckich drops back looking for a leg! Shunkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shunkov manages to kick Tuckich off! Tuckich jumps back into Shunkov's guard.
