Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raykwan Windtalker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Ishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Raykwan Windtalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Ishi!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ishi or perhaps it was just good defense by Windtalker which made him look bad.
Windtalker doesn't manage to clinch there - Ishi circles away.
Ishi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Windtalker is fending him off so far but Ishi persists. Nope, Windtalker circles away and we're back to standing.
Ishi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Windtalker swivels and escapes.
Raykwan Windtalker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Ishi.
Ishi shoots in but no luck this time.
A slapping leg kick lands for Windtalker.

Windtalker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Windtalker showed some decent athleticism there.
Windtalker prevents Ishi from improving his position.

Windtalker stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Windtalker is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Ishi gets full guard.

Ishi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ishi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Windtalker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Windtalker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Windtalker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ishi swivels and escapes.

Windtalker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ishi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ishi swats away the attempt to clinch by Windtalker.

and Ishi counters with a takedown into side control.
Windtalker is trying to buck Ishi off.

Ishi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ishi has knee on belly momentarily but Windtalker bucks him off and regains half guard.

Windtalker is looking to escape.
Ishi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Windtalker is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Ishi is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Windtalker is in real trouble.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Raykwan Windtalker will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Ishi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Windtalker wants to get back to his feet but Ishi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ishi wants to pass the guard but Windtalker is keeping the position.
Windtalker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ishi is controlling him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Windtalker manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Ishi doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Windtalker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Windtalker.

Windtalker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ishi is looking for a triangle here but Windtalker uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Windtalker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Ishi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Windtalker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ishi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ishi has an active guard here but Windtalker has managed to pass into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

and Ishi counters with a takedown into side control.

Ishi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ishi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raykwan Windtalker dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Windtalker tries to clinch but Ishi is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by Windtalker or perhaps it was just good defense by Ishi which made him look bad.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Windtalker wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Ishi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Windtalker squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Ishi working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Windtalker really wants to buck Ishi off and get back to his feet.

Windtalker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Windtalker is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Ishi has taken his back!

Ishi is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Windtalker has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Ishi is looking for the choke from the back position but Windtalker is controlling his hands well.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Windtalker is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ishi gets his way!

Windtalker is in a bad position with Ishi working for a choke. Windtalker manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Takashi Ishi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Windtalker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
