The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorva falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smit counters with a nice uppercut.
Lorva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lorva throws a nice looking combination but Smit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lorva takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lorva lands with a cross.
Lorva swinging wildly here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smit. That's going to slow Lorva down.
Lorva misses with a double jab

and Smit counters with a crisp one two that drops Lorva! Smit thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lorva to his feet! Lorva is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lorva throws a series of punches but Smit moves out of range.
Lorva connects with the punch.
Lorva swings for the body but Smit moves out of range.
Lorva is breathing heavily.

Lorva throws a left and a right that both miss

and Smit counters with a nice right hand that sends Lorva toppling to the canvas! Lorva scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Smit finish him?!
Oh Lorva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Dani Lorva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smit throws a head kick but Lorva moves out of range.
Smit seems to be stalking Lorva here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Lorva drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
