Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Chunqiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chunqiao comes to the cage accompanied by You Can't Be Friends With Everyone by MAKE OUT. Ortiz has chosen My town as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angel Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz misses with a jab to the body
and Chunqiao counters with a left to the body.
Ortiz has his takedown stuffed
and Chunqiao counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ortiz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chunqiao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ortiz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ortiz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chunqiao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ortiz has managed to get both his arms back between Chunqiao's legs - danger averted.
Chunqiao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ortiz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Chunqiao is fighting to break Ortiz's control of his arms but Ortiz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Chunqiao has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ortiz is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Chunqiao has latched onto it... Big trouble! Chunqiao pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Ortiz is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Chunqiao!

Zhang Chunqiao spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
