Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Hellwig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hellwig comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Warrior kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Hellwig!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Hellwig fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dennis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dennis.
Dennis connects with an inside leg kick.
Hellwig lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hellwig.
It looks like Shelton Dennis has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hellwig lands a head shot.
Hellwig dives in and scores a takedown into Dennis's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dennis looking for a sweep. Not yet Dennis, not yet.
Hellwig must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dennis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dennis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hellwig drops Dennis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dennis looks back up at him and smiles so Hellwig waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dennis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hellwig lands with a nice body punch.
Dennis tries for a takedown but Hellwig circles away easily
and Hellwig counters with a left to the body.
Dennis is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hellwig scores with a jab to the body.
Dennis leaves his chin hanging out and Hellwig seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Dennis crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jim Hellwig!
