The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes shoots in looking for a takedown but Mathers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Grimes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mathers throws a nice looking combination but Grimes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Grimes misses with a takedown attempt - Mathers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Grimes dodges the punch combination from Mathers.
Mathers steps in with a hook that catches Grimes right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mathers follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Grimes looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marshall Mathers!
