Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Gibbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez has chosen It's My Life-Bon Jovi as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez misses with a takedown attempt - Gibbler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gibbler cracks Velasquez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Cain Velasquez has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Velasquez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Velasquez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Velasquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gibbler swivels and escapes.
Velasquez tries to clinch but Gibbler is having none of it.
Velasquez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gibbler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Velasquez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Velasquez moves to clinch but Gibbler breaks away
and Gibbler counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
