The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by St Pierre.
St Pierre takes a jab right on the kisser.
Takahashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but St Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takahashi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
St Pierre misses with a head kick.
St Pierre listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Takahashi moves out of range of the body kick from St Pierre.
St Pierre seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Takahashi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Takahashi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Jonathan St Pierre has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takahashi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Takahashi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Takahashi tries a low kick but St Pierre avoids it.
Takahashi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits St Pierres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

St Pierre is rocked!
St Pierre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh St Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takahashi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takahashi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Takahashi misses with a jab, cross combination.
St Pierre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Takahashi batters St Pierre with a massive right followed by a huge left! St Pierre is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Takahashi lands a final crushing right hand to drop St Pierre to the mat with a gruesome thud! Takahashi is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
