Manres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Stringer has chosen The Loner as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringer throws a hook to the side of Manres's head but Manres sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Manres shoots in and drives through. Stringer sprawls well.

Stringer is pressed up against the cage. Manres has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stringer down to the mat. Stringer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Manres shoots in looking for a takedown but Stringer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stringer and Manres are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Stringer throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Manres into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Stringer knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

After winning the bout, Avon Stringer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
