Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Matias swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Matias shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matias showed some decent athleticism there.
Reyes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Matias.
Matias trying to control the action but Reyes is working from the bottom.
Matias tries to stand and escape but Reyes actually recovers to full guard.
Reyes seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Matias seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Matias has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Matias throws a head kick that misses.
A left and a right from Matias both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Stacey Reyes has been cut.
Matias lands a brutal head kick. Reyes looks out on his feet and Matias throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
