PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Las Mambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juhani Jarvela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarvela has chosen Real American as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mambo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mambo throwing shots but Jarvela is blocking nicely.
Mambo is nestled in close to Jarvela, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mambo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mambo thows a huge punch but Jarvela dodges it nicely.

Jarvela really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mambo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mambo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Jarvela is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mambo is controlling him.

You can see the frustration on Jarvela's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mambo has hold of Jarvela's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jarvela seems comfortable defending it but Mambo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jarvela is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jarvela is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mambo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
