Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by no love. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Enrique Vargas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Harris!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris scores with a takedown into Vargas's guard.
Vargas trying to control the position.

Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vargas is on top in guard.
Our spies down at at Werewolf's cave inform us that Harris has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Vargas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harris works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Vargas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Vargas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vargas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Harris regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Vargas.

Harris closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vargas avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Harris.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bryan Harris.

Harris feints and as Vargas raises his hands in defense, Harris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Harris stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Vargas to get to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harris tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vargas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harris decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Enrique Vargas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bryan Harris is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Vargas gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well Harris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
