The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulahula ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hulahula looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Hulahula rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
Hulahula fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hulahula misses the shot to the body.
Hulahula loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch.
Hulahula throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hulahula ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hulahula tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Hulahula.

Heimo Hulahula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hulahula takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.
Hulahula scores with the left hand. Williams knows he should have avoided that one.
Williams throws a series of punches but Hulahula moves out of range.

Williams ducks under a wild hook from Hulahula.
Williams tries to clinch up but Hulahula circles away and keeps his distance.
A jab from Hulahula does it's job there.
Hulahula swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hulahula throws a jab when Williams was well out of range.
Williams throws a hook but Hulahula avoids it easily.
Hulahula loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch.
Hulahula throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hulahula off to one side.
Hulahula throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hulahula is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Williams moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from Hulahula misses the target.
Hulahula throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it.
Hulahula tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Josh Williams has been cut.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Williams walks straight into a right hand from Hulahula - that's dropped him! Hulahula jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Williams from any more punishment! Williams complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
