Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne Parr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Wayne Parr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John White!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White tries to keep at a distance but Parr has taken the fight into the clinch.
Parr lands an elbow inside that White shrugs off.
Parr lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Parr digs a right hand into White's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on White's gas tank.
Parr is pressed up against the cage. White has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Parr down to the mat. Parr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Parr moves in looking to clinch but White pushes him off.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
White working away.
Parr is not content to let White control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parr is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White lands some shots froms side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White scores with a couple of short elbows.
Parr tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Parr is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

White looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

White is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Parr looks calm but he's in trouble here. White gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Parr is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! White lets go of the hold and Parr can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John White!
Our winner, John White, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
