The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresh blocks a head kick by Kelly.
Fresh throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fresh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kelly misses with the combination.
Fresh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
Kelly lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fresh backs up against the cage.
Fresh misses with a hook. Kelly ducked under it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kelly uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fresh.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kelly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fresh throws a hook to the side of Kelly's head but Kelly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fresh lands with an uppercut that bounces Kelly off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly throws a right hand that Fresh ducks under and follows up with a left that Fresh also avoids with ease.
Kelly swings for the body but Fresh moves out of range.

Vlad Fresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Kelly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fresh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelly.
Fresh shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kelly eats them both and turns towards Fresh to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kelly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Kelly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fresh lands with a hook. Kelly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Fresh moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Kelly! Fresh continues to tee off on Kelly, landing with a left and a right! Fresh connects with a right hand that leaves Kelly sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Fresh!
