Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shikou Endou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Endou kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name of - Rage Against The Machine. Brandon has chosen All Summer Long as his entrance music. Buddy Brandon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shikou Endou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buddy Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endou misses the shot to the body.
Brandon misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brandon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brandon throws the kick towards the body but Endou avoids it.
Brandon avoids the body shot from Endou.
Endou definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Brandon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Endou sprawls well initially but Brandon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Endou makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Endou.
Endou wants to sweep here but Brandon controlling him for the moment.
Brandon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Endou is trying to control the position but Brandon postures up.
Endou tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brandon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Endou to the mat! Endou manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Endou looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Brandon postures up.
Endou isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brandon stacks Endou on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brandon!
Endou manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brandon's best efforts.

Endou is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Endou escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brandon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Endou not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandon content to stall in guard here.
Endou wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brandon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brandon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brandon chips away with some ground and pound.
Brandon tries to stand but Endou is controlling from the bottom.

Endou looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brandon is one step ahead there.
Endou working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brandon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brandon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Endou looking for a triangle here. Brandon is fighting it but it looks tight! Endou pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Brandon is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Shikou Endou!
