Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santeri Sikaniska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kriztov The Yeti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sikaniska comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Brothers on the 4th floor - Fairytales. The Yeti has chosen Duran Duran- Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Kriztov The Yeti told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Santeri Sikaniska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kriztov The Yeti!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Yeti tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sikaniska swivels and escapes.
A swing and a miss from The Yeti.

Sikaniska instigates a clinch.

Sikaniska has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed The Yeti clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Sikaniska decides to get back to his feet. A strange decision but one that the crowd certainly appreciate.

The Yeti is working an open guard so Sikaniska takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sikaniska shoots in and gets a takedown into The Yeti's guard.

Sikaniska gets to his feet - The Yeti follows without any prompting.
No luck with that takedown attempt from The Yeti.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sikaniska looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A clash of legs there as The Yeti blocks the low kick.
Sikaniska tries to clinch but The Yeti moves out of range.
The Yeti tries for a takedown but Sikaniska circles away easily
and Sikaniska counters with a left to the body.
Santeri Sikaniska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kriztov The Yeti.
The Yeti swats away the attempt to clinch by Sikaniska.
The Yeti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The Yeti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sikaniska tries to avoid it but The Yeti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sikaniska to the ground. Sikaniska escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The Yeti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sikaniska's waist but Sikaniska gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Yeti off to one side.
Sikaniska has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Qube Striking in the buildup to the fight.
Sikaniska dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on The Yeti. That did some damage!

Sikaniska instigates a clinch.
The Yeti jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sikaniska walks away with a smile on his face. The Yeti gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sikaniska scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Kriztov The Yeti has been cut.

Sikaniska drops The Yeti with a left right combo! Sikaniska follows him down to the ground into side control.
The Yeti looks winded!

Sikaniska has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sikaniska bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops The Yeti! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

The Yeti is rocked!

Sikaniska stands and steps away. The Yeti gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The Yeti is still on wobbly legs! Can Sikaniska finish him?
The fighters circling - The Yeti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The Yeti seems to have recovered his senses.
Sikaniska cracks The Yeti with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The Yeti keeps the fight on the outside.

Sikaniska darts in and clinches The Yeti up against the cage.

Sikaniska lands a hook to the side of the head.

Sikaniska's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from The Yeti.

Sikaniska displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as The Yeti throws out the jab.
The Yeti fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sikaniska avoids it really well and circles away.
The Yeti takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sikaniska has closed the distance and engaged The Yeti in a clinch.
Sikaniska lands a hook that snaps the head of The Yeti backwards.

That has opened up Kriztov The Yeti's cut even more.
The Yeti fails to pull guard.

The Yeti is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sikaniska is just too persistent for him and manages to trip The Yeti to the mat. The Yeti regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The Yeti is working an open guard so Sikaniska takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Yeti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sikaniska sprawls well. Sikaniska wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Yeti gets slowly back to his feet.
The Yeti looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sikaniska is fending him off so far but The Yeti persists. Nope, Sikaniska circles away and we're back to standing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sikaniska closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sikaniska throws an elbow but misses.
Sikaniska lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Sikaniska lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The Yeti tries to pull guard but Sikaniska forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
The Yeti is looking to break free of the clinch but Sikaniska has double underhooks.

The Yeti has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Sikaniska pushes The Yeti back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sikaniska presses The Yeti against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Sikaniska wants the takedown. The Yeti is fighting it off but Sikaniska persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in The Yeti's guard against the cage.

Sikaniska stands up from The Yeti's guard - Sikaniska perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sikaniska cracks The Yeti with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sikaniska lands a hook that stumbles The Yeti back into the cage. Sikaniska follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping The Yeti to the canvas! Sikaniska pounces and lands several unanswered shots - The Yeti has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
