The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Jack Man has been cut.
Stratton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it.
Man really is a fat lump.
Stratton is looking to land body kicks.
Stratton misses with the combination.
Stratton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stratton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Man moves away.
Man takes one to the side of the head.
Man uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stratton.
Stratton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stratton.
Stratton throws and low kick but Man moves out of range easily.
Stratton throws a body punch but Man moves out of range.
Stratton tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stratton tries to land a leg kick but Man saw it coming and moves away.

Stratton drives through with a takedown into guard.

Man has his foot on Stratton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stratton works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stratton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stratton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Man doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stratton.

Oh but Man is tightening it up a little... Stratton has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Stratton reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Stratton taps out! nice BJJ there by Man!
