The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Message checks a low kick from Meat.
Message looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Meat throws a series of punches but Message avoids them all with ease.
Message showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Meat.
Message tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Message definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Meat throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Meat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Meat looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Message bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Meat just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Meat. Those never looked like landing.
Meat throws a right and a left that Message avoids nicely.
Meat lands a nice leg kick that just misses Message's sensitive parts.
Meat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Message fails to land the takedown.
Message avoids the head kick by Meat.

Meat tries to work over Message's front leg with a kick but Message checks it.
Message slips a jab and a cross from Meat.
Meat thows a body shot but no joy.
Eat Meat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Message steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Meat. That one must have hurt.
Eat Meat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Message avoids the head kick by Meat.

Message closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Meat loads up on a big right hand but Message slips the punch.
Message looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Message tries to clinch but Meat is having none of it.
Meat throws a looping overhand right but Message ducks down to avoid it.
A head kick from Message lands but Meat takes it in his stride.
Meat throws a wild body kick that Message sees coming a mile off.
Message wants to clinch up but Meat keeps it at a distance.

Meat misses with a double jab.

Message darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Message thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Meat tries to kick Message off but Message keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Meat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Message with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Meat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Message. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Program Message has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Meat throws a body punch but Message moves out of range.
Meat misses with a head kick.
Meat misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Message is defended easily by Meat.
Meat misses with a looping right.
Meat circles away from the clinch attempt.
Meat misses with a series of wild punches.
Message scores with a head kick. Meat tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Meat works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Program Message will probably get the nod.

Meat connects with a good right hand that stumbles Message. Message circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meat is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Message hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
