The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniels clinches.
Lima is trying to push Daniels away but Daniels has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lima is trying to trip Daniels. He has hold of a leg but Daniels is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lima persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Daniels has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lima clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Daniels enables Lima to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daniels manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
