The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey loads up on a big right hand but Muria slips the punch.
Dempsey throws a lazy right hand but Muria sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dempsey avoids the body shot from Muria.
Dempsey tries to clinch up but Muria circles away and keeps his distance.
Dempsey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dempsey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Muria in his tracks.
Dempsey misses with an uppercut.
Dempsey looks to score with a jab to the body but Muria is just out of range.
Dempsey misses with a looping right.
Le Muria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muria rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dempsey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Muria scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dempsey in his tracks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Muria. Dempsey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dempsey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Muria's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dempsey under the eye.

Muria swats away the attempt to clinch by Dempsey.

Muria fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Dempsey punishes Muria's body with a nice straight punch.

Dempsey connects with a body shot.
Dempsey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dempsey is breathing heavily.

Muria drops Dempsey with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dempsey looks back up at him and smiles so Muria waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dempsey is rocked!

It looks like Kieran Dempsey has been cut.

Muria connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Dempsey covering up! Muria comes in with a big uppercut and Dempsey goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
