Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Huey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huey's entrance music is Sail Remix version. A fine choice. Charles Clark is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Huey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Clark!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huey swats away the attempt to clinch by Clark.
Clark misses with a straight right.
Clark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Huey moves away.
Huey dives in and grabs Clark's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes down on Huey's head and hops out.
Huey circles away from the clinch attempt
and Huey counters with a shoot takedown. Clark fights it but they end up in guard.
Huey stops Clark from standing up.
Huey postures up.
Huey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Clark dives on top into guard.
Clark controls from within his opponent's guard.

Clark pushes down on Huey's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Clark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huey keeps working.
Huey is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at BLACKSMITH GYM - THE 25 Coach Las Vegas Mega-Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Clark tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Huey.

Clark looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Clark wants to stand but Huey has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Clark is trying to control the action in half guard but Huey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Charles Clark has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Clark looking to score a takedown here. Huey is defending well but Clark drives through and ends up in Huey's guard.
Clark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Huey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clark's guard.

Clark pulls Huey in close to prevent any damage.
Huey lands a couple of digs.
Clark is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Huey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clark manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Huey has Clark in his guard.
Clark is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Charles Clark hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A low kick from Clark is predictable there
and Huey counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Huey wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
Clark avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Huey throws a strike but Clark rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Clark trying to control but Huey is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Charles Clark will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Clark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Huey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Clark throws some wild stikes that Huey manages to avoid easily.
Huey has given up his back. Will we see Clark going for some submissions?

Huey tries to roll but Clark sticks to his back.
Huey covering up well and avoiding damage.
Huey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clark on the ground.
Huey wants to escape the position.
Clark just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Clark is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Huey tries to escape but Clark has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Huey avoids the strikes from Clark.
Clark controlling well, preventing Huey from escaping the position.
Clark punches the canvas rather than the man.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Even with his hooks in, Clark manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Clark struggling to land strikes to the head as Huey covers up.
Clark has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Huey! Can he survive? No! He's out! Clark gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
