Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frederick Brennan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brennan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bishop breaks the clinch.
Brennan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bishop throws a head kick but Brennan moves out of range.

Bishop closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Brennan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bishop is trying to keep an underhook but Brennan manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brennan lands a nice short elbow.
Bishop is looking for a sweep. Brennan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bishop is trying to control but can't.
Brennan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Brennan really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

We're going to have a standup here because Frederick Brennan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bishop is fighting to break Brennan's control of his arms but Brennan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Brennan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bishop's guard.

Brennan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but John Bishop will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Brennan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bishop for as long as he can get away with.

Brennan gets caught napping as Bishop dives in and scores a takedown. Brennan manages to retain guard.

Brennan has his feet on Bishop's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bishop drives through with a takedown into Brennan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

John Bishop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bishop has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
