Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fight Morsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kokz Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fight Morsa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kokz Slice's chin.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slice fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morsa avoids it really well and circles away.

Slice closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morsa's guard.
Morsa is trying to control the position but Slice postures up.
Slice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Morsa wants to sweep here but Slice controlling him for the moment.

Morsa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slice defends well.

Kokz Slice has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Slice throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morsa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slice is in Morsa's guard.
Slice loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Slice wants to pass the guard but Morsa is keeping the position.

Slice decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Morsa is breathing heavily.

Slice closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slice is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Morsa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Morsa wants to get back to his feet.

Kokz Slice dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Morsa dives in for a single leg takedown but Slice sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Slice tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Slice wants to break free but Morsa has control.
Slice jumps guard but Morsa stands there with Slice around his waist. Slice gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Slice wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slice jumps guard but Morsa stands there with Slice around his waist. Slice gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Morsa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slice walks away with a smile on his face. Morsa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Morsa slips a straight right by Slice.
Morsa shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Morsa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morsa. Slice does a little dance to reset his feet.

Slice moves into range and clinches up with Morsa.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Slice manages to break the clinch.
Morsa tries to close the distance and clinch but Slice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Slice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slice lands in his opponent's guard.
Slice chips away with some ground and pound.
Morsa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slice controls the pace.
Slice is looking to work some ground and pound but Morsa has wrist control.
Slice wanted to stand there but Morsa had control of the position.

Let's hope that Slice has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kokz Slice was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Morsa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slice as he jumps to the side.

Slice got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morsa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slice has managed to get both his arms back between Morsa's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kokz Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Morsa keeps the fight on the outside.

Slice looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Morsa!

Morsa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
