Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyson Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nicky Pesci!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesci shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clay as he jumps to the side.
Pesci with a poor takedown
and Clay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pesci fails with a takedown attempt.
Tyson Clay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicky Pesci.
Pesci tries to clinch
and Clay counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Clay counters with a single leg into guard. Pesci didn't expect that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Pesci will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Pesci trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pesci is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clay defends well.
Clay not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Clay lands a couple of digs.
Clay postures up and lands a big shot to Pesci's brow.
Pesci throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Pesci tries to strike from the bottom.
Pesci is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clay content to stall in guard here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Clay's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Clay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pesci throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pesci is trying to keep Clay in close.
Clay trying to control but Pesci is working from the bottom.
Clay is really struggling to control Pesci but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Clay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Clay postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Clay passes Pesci's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pesci trying to control but Clay postures up.
Clay takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Clay lands strikes from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Pesci looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pesci is trying to control but can't.
Clay is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Clay is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pesci!
Pesci really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pesci bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Pesci postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clay looking to control.
Pesci trying to control but Clay is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pesci is looking to work some ground and pound but Clay has wrist control.
Pesci wants to control from the top but Clay keeps moving.
Clay looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pesci pushes down on Clay's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Clay gets back to full guard.

Clay manages to escape and get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pesci fails with the takedown
and Clay counters with a nice uppercut.
Pesci shoots in and drives through. Clay sprawls well.
Jab by Clay.
Pesci fails with the takedown.

Pesci gets tackled into the cage by Clay. Clay maintains the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clay manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pesci has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Clay avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pesci's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Clay prevents a takedown attempt there.
Pesci is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Clay pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Clay dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Pesci is rocked!
Pesci shoots in for a takedown but Clay shows good takedown defense.
Pesci is still on wobbly legs! Can Clay finish him?
Pesci is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clay sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Clay lands a jab.

Clay dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Pesci has had enough and taps out.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tyson Clay!
A very excited looking Tyson Clay rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
