Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamora comes to the cage accompanied by Nirvana - Lake of Fire. Zedong has chosen March Of The Volunteers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mao Zedong!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zedong connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Zedong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zedong closes the distance and clinches.
Zedong lands a nice knee to the body.
Zamora misses with a punch on the inside.
Zamora is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Zamora misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Zedong.
A nice left hand lands by Zedong.
Zedong misses with a knee strike.
Zedong tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Zamora is trying to drag Zedong to the mat but Zedong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Zamora breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zamora closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zamora lands in his opponent's guard.
Zedong trying to keep a closed guard but Zamora is proving a slippery customer.

Zedong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zamora forces Zedong back against the cage and clinches.
Zedong tries a body shot but Zamora blocks it.
Zedong tries to throw a body punch but Zamora avoids it by throwing Zedong back against the cage.

Zedong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Zamoras head.
Zedong lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Zedong tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Zedong doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Zamora is looking to control Zedong's arms but Zedong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Zamora has his back to the cage.
Zedong has Zamora pressed against the cage, preventing Zamora from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Zamora breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zamora takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mao Zedong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zamora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zedong fails with an attempt to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Zamora blocks the leg kick.
Zedong fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zamora.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zedong goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Zedong moves in looking to clinch but Zamora pushes him off.
Zedong has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zamora.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zedong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mao Zedong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zedong cracks Zamora with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Zamora is rocked!
Zamora looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Zedong fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Zamora square on the jaw! Damn, Zamora is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mao Zedong!
Mao Zedong tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
