Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arron Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgios Flessas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georgios Flessas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flessas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gaines sprawls well. Gaines wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flessas gets slowly back to his feet.
Gaines misses with a jab, cross combination.
Flessas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gaines sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flessas somewhat.
Gaines fails in his attempt to clinch.

Arron Gaines has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georgios Flessas.

Gaines moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Flessas - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Flessas jumps guard and drags Gaines to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Flessas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gaines defends well.
Gaines might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gaines wants to get up but he can't break Flessas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Flessas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gaines throws an elbow that misses. Flessas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gaines's guard. Nice move by Flessas!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gaines gets underhooks to prevent Flessas's takedown attempt.
Flessas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Flessas is trying to pull guard but Gaines turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flessas throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flessas closes the distance and clinches up with Gaines, looking for a takedown. Flessas pushes Gaines against the cage but Gaines circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's time! Gaines's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gaines is looking to clinch but Flessas is avoiding it.

Gaines tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flessas paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gaines distracts Flessas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Flessas thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Gaines wants to stand but Flessas is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gaines wanted to stand there but Flessas had control of the position.
Flessas looking for a sweep. Not yet Flessas, not yet.

Flessas controls Gaines momentarily but Gaines frees himself.
Gaines has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gaines tries to stand but Flessas is controlling from the bottom.
Gaines trying to control the position from guard on top but Flessas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Flessas has his foot on Gaines's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gaines works his way back into a safe position though.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gaines won't allow Flessas to sweep him here.
Flessas throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Gaines controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Flessas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gaines gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gaines stands and steps away. Flessas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
