The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Flintstone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pettis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flintstone somewhat.
Flintstone has a takedown stuffed.
Pettis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pettis stuffs the takedown.
Pete Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Flintstone.
Pettis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Flintstone's calf.
Pettis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pettis moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Flintstone fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Flintstone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Flintstone shoots in but Pettis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pettis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters circling a little - Pettis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Flintstone looks winded!
Pettis feints and then cracks Flintstone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flintstone down.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Flintstone has eaten all the pies!
No joy there for Flintstone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Flintstone takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Fred Flintstone has been cut.
Pete Pettis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pettis throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pettis circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Flintstone drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Pettis follows Flintstone to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
