PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Materla might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sobota - DO góry łeb!. Jackson Davis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Davis!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla avoids a punch combination nicely.
Materla looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Materla doesn't manage to clinch there - Davis circles away.
Materla tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jackson Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
