Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Daze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Purple Haze!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Haze shoots in for a takedown but Daze shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Daze shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haze as he avoids it easily.
Haze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daze paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Haze slaps away a takedown attempt from Daze, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A lazy left from Haze finds it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Haze is looking to clinch but Daze is avoiding it.

and Haze counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Daze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haze's waist but Haze gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daze off to one side.

Haze drops Daze with a beautiful combination! Daze stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Haze is looking for the KO!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haze tries to clinch but Daze moves out of range.
Daze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Haze is fending him off so far but Daze persists. Nope, Haze circles away and we're back to standing.

Haze throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Daze tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Haze is in Daze's guard.

Daze looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Haze is defending well. Daze quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Haze has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Daze celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
