The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angle darts in trying to clinch
and Ross finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Ross digs a good body shot into Angle's ribs.
Ross connects with an inside leg kick.
Angle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ross!
Angle throws a head kick but Ross moves out of range.

Angle rushes Ross and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ross is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ross scores with a nice hook to the head.
Angle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ross lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Angle.
Ross lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ross misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Ross lands a nice uppercut.

Angle manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Angle pulls Ross in close to prevent any damage.
Angle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
