The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein has taken the fight to the clinch.
Smith tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stein just stands there and leans against the cage.
Stein wants to get back to striking at distance but Smith won't allow it.
Stein is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Smith to keep the fight standing.
Stein has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Smith rolls with it to try and escape but Stein cranks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
