The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Armando defends it nicely.
Armando throws a right and a left that Bass avoids nicely.
A cross from Bass lands.
Armando lands a jab to the nose.
Armando fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Bass scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Armando tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Armando is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bass off and has taken his back!
Bass is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Armando has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Bass! Can he survive? No! He's out! Armando gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
